The Savannah Wildcats are the first Continental Basketball League Champions of 2010!!!

The Savannah Wildcats faced off against the Wilmington Sea Dawgs in the CBL Championship Game earlier this afternoon. The game lasted into overtime with a final score of 96 - 86. The end of regulation resulted in a score of 83 – 83.

The Wildcats backcourt did a phenomenal job offensively with guard Joseph Flegler leading the way, racking up 33 points and 3 rebounds. In addition the Wildcats big men were an integral element in this victory.

Wildcats forward Brian Moultrie dominated the game offensively as well as defensively, finishing off with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 4 steals. Franchot Brown delivered 11 points along with 3 rebounds while Damien Perkins contributed 8 points and 12 rebounds.
