Sunni Haralalka

Dance Coach

Sunni Haralalka is a junior at UNCP and has been a member of UNCP's cheerleading dance team for the past three years, she has been dancing and cheering for nine years. In high school she was selected for a Honors Selected Dance company. She was also on the Cheerleading team all four years of high school; one year on JV, where she was captain, and three years on varsity, where she also held a captain title. In high school, Sunni was named All-American in cheerleading three years in a row. Sunni was a member of Cheer Carolina All-Stars, for cheering as well as dancing. Sunni was also on the open dance team, which was mostly graduates and selected dancers.

Sunni says of being named Cheer Coach of the Cougarz, “I think this is the start of something special in the Fayetteville area. I look forward to bringing an energetic dance team to the Cougarz and really getting the fans fired up.”

Ave' Billingslea

Team Coordinator

Ave’ is a 2006 graduate of Methodist University having earned her B.A. in Business Administration and earning a minor in Paralegal Studies. Ave’ has over 17 years of experience in cheerleading and in dance. She has choreographed pageants as well as at the middle and high school levels.

Ave’ is currently the Dance Coordinator for the AIFA’s Fayetteville Guard where she is in her sixth season. Away from dancing, Ave’ owns Studio A2O, a competitive dance studio in Fayetteville. Professionally, she is the Accounting Bookkeeper at Cliffdale Elementary School.
